Cadillac Repair: powersteering pump, chevy truck, pully

Question
i have to replace the powersteering pump on a 1989 chevy truck.. 350 4x4. 2500. i removed the back bolts and bracket but there seems to be 2 bolts behind the pully.. do i need to pull the pully off to get to thoes bolts or is there another way to do it.. thanks for your time and reply

Answer
Hi Richard, You need to repost this question on the Chevy site to get the propper info. I would say that if you see bolts behind the pulley and removing the rear bolts doesn't allow the pump to be removed then yes the pulley must be removed. When you buy a new pump the pulley must be transfered from the old pump so take it off and see what happens when the bolts are removed. Bill
