Cadillac Repair: removal of power antenna, power antenna, inner fender

I am trying to remove the power antenna on a 1984 cadillac biarritz but i am not sure on how to start.. Do i have to remove the fender or just the hood bracket? PLEASE HELP..

Hi James, All you need to do is unbolt the hinge from the inner fender and then with the hinge still bolted to the hood position the hinge out of the way of the opening behind the hinge. That is where the antenna comes out. Alot easier to do than the brougham. Bill
