how do you remove the front carpet on 99 deville ? are special tools require to remove trim ? thank you

Hi, You will need a selection of metric sockets, some torx bit sockets and a shop manual to tell you how to disable the air bag system because the module is under the drivers seat and it   could set off the air bags if the disarming procedure isn't followed. Then unbolting the seats is easy and if you have a floor console then that will be involved. Once all the seats are removed then the sill plates can be removed and the carpet is acessable. Bill
