Chevrolet Repair: 1992 chevy 1500 no fuel from TBI, no start, fuel pump

Question
I need some help. I am trying to help my grandfather out. He has a 1992 Chevy Silverado with a 5.7 350 in it. He came over to my house to do some work. When he went to leave, it wouldn’t start. No fuel would spray from the throttle body. So here is what I have done so far.

Have checked all power connections (seem to be getting power to all necessary points)
Changed fuel pump and sending unit
Changed fuel pump relay
Changed throttle body with one know to be good
Changed fuses in cab
Changed the oil pressure sensor switch

I am at a loss and don’t know what else to do. Please help me, I am tired of spending money on this truck!!!PLEASE HELP!!!

Answer
Hi Jason,

Here's what you need to do;
First, you need a 12 volt test light. Then you need to check for power and ground at the fuel pump connector. The ground wire is black and located on the frame near the center of the tank. Make sure it is CLEAN and TIGHT. I believe the gray wire is the power feed for the pump. Test this wire while you have an assistant crank the engine. If you have power here, and your ground is good, you have a defective pump.
If you have no power, check for a fuel pump fuse at the firewall near the transmission dipstick. It may have a cover over it.
Check these things and get back with me and we'll go from there if you still need help.okay? Great!
