Chevrolet Repair: 1985 chevy s-10 blazer oil leak, compression rings, dipstick tube

Question
i have a 85 s-10 blazer i have put new valve cover gaskets new pcv valve and gromet but their is still a oil leak  but when i push down on the throttle i can see oil coming out back through the dipstick tube is it not breathing right or what?

Answer
OIl pan compression is usually caused by either the oil drain back holes under the valve covers on the cylinder heads are almos completely blocked with CRUD and or you have severly worn piston compression rings that are allowing the cylinder pressure to get past the pistons and need to be replaced.

How is the performance of the vehicle ?. If it is slow to accelerate and has no power you may have an exhaust restriction such as a partially restricted catalytic converter.

Are you SURE that the PCV valve has suction at the valve when the engine is running as thePCV hose may need to be replaced or the fitting where the hose attaches to the manifold is plugged up with CRUD and needs to be reemed out.
