Chevrolet Repair: ECM fuse B burning, chevy suburban, fuel gauge

Question
I have a 2000 Chevy Suburban and the ECM fuse B (20 Amps) burns, and it strutters but not turn on, the fuel gauge does not work, and does not indicate in what position is the shift gear at {P R N D 2 or 1) when fuse is burned

Answer
HI Fernando.... we you have a short in that circut somewhere...probably in the ecm itself....try putting in a known good ecm and see if fuse stays ok....if not you will need to trace the circuts from that fuse to the source of the short. If you are not good at auto electric wiring i wouldn't tackle that job myself, find someone that knows automotive wiring systems and computers and have it fixed right.some one without the right skills could end up costing a lot more in the end...hope this helps
