Chevrolet Repair: 96 chev monte carlo lighting, power spike, dash lights

symtoms are    flashers do not work, dash lights do not work, marker lights inop, liecense plate light inop brake lights work when pedal is pushed but at night are not lit when head lights are on. headlights work, turn signals work, dome light works. please give advice. Thankyou

Hi Michael... first check the fuses... if all are ok check the headlight switch...if thats ok check the flasher for the signals. check all your bulbs....sometimes if you get a power spike from the alt it will blow the bulbs...for dash lights check that the dimmer isn't turned down...hope this helps
