Chevrolet Repair: 1997 Cavalier Electrical Issue, delco radio, brake warning light

Question
Hi, I've got a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.2L Sedan, with the Factory AM/FM/Cassette Unit.  I've been having this problem lately (over the last couple of months) where the radio has been dying all together.  When I say the radio 'dies' I mean that the whole display goes off and the radio will not work.  I can still display the clock but only if I press the Recall button (as if the car was turned off).  It started happening infrequently and intermittently but it proceeded to happen when I hit a bump in the road, from there, the radio, in the last two weeks, would work or not depending on where my left  foot was situated on the driver's side floor.  Now the radio won't work all together.  Around the same time, the Parking Brake Warning Light on the Dash won't come on when I engage the E-Brake, nor will it turn off the DRLs as it is supposed to.

I've been told it could be the "Body Control Module" or the Alternator.  Battery is new in the last 12 months, terminals are not corroded, and I've already replaced the offending fuses, so those can be ruled out.

I suspect there is an electrical problem, but I'd like a professional opinion.  I appreciate your assistance

Thanks Again.

Answer
There is a drl relay on the front bumper clip that flips upside down and fills with water.  There is also a union junction block under the washer bottle that corrodes ont eh low beam input for the DRL.  Check the relay, take it off and give it a shake.  No water is a must.
Delco radio's suck.  Go to the make sure the inputs 12 and ground are good and noone has tapped into them for an accessory of some kind. If not just get a used one from the wreckers.  A dealer new radio will shock you in price.
