Steering Column Repair: Steering wheel jam, honda passport, steering wheel

Hello Douglas,
I have 1997 Honda Passport 4 dr Ex. Yesterday my steering wheel jam. I have inspected the power steering wheel tank, which is full. Any idea what cause this jam?

I need to clarify the question for you.
When you say it jammed, I'm not sure if you mean:
1) the power assist stopped working and you had a hard time turning the vehicle while driving, or
2) the steering wheel actually locked in place and you could not turn it  (with or without the car running or moving)
Please respond with either 1 or 2 and more detail if you can
