My check engine light is on and the code reads p1441 how do i fix this and where do i locate it to get it fixed?

Hi Kim,

That code is the purge solenoid.  It may need replacing.  Usually the reason for the code.  It is found at the top rear of engine, behind ICM (ignition control module).

If you change this and you are still having this problem the canister is proably breaking apart inside and charcoal is sticking the purge valve.  Make sure none of the hoses are cracked or disconnected,also check for a plugged hose, if this does not help I would try checking wiring and then move to checking the ECM.
