Chevrolet Repair: installing a/c on non factory installed, major communications, c option

Question
I work for a major communications company. My company provided vehicle does not have a/c. I would like to have it installed. Have asked locally -small town/ really small :) can not get clear answer. Vehicle is 1996 chewy 3500 5.7 liter 4x4. Engine has mount for a/c compressor, and controls do not have a/c option.Any help is greatly  appreciated.

Yes it can be installed but would need to take to the professionals to be done. The reason for that is all the parts needed to install also include parts of the wiring harness which are difficult unless you are a trained professional. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.
