Chevrolet Repair: AC is making a clicking noise, chevy dealership, flapper

I have a 1994 c-1500 2wd and everytime I start/turn off my truck, it makes a clicking noise in the black box on the passengers side, like it's trying to recharge itself or something..Can you tell me what I need to fix it and possibly walk me through the process? Thank you for your time.

This is a common problem in those trucks. It is a flapper not resetting properly. I have had the same problem on my truck. It is a complicated process to expain but if you go to your local chevy dealership they can give a detailed diagram on how to fix it. Your going to have to take your dash out and take the box apart to fix it. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance but it is more of a hands on fix.
P.S. The flapper is the max a/c flapper that lets more air into the box
