Chevrolet Repair: 97 Chevy Blazer, fuel pressure regulator, chevy blazer

my 97 Chevy Blazer takes me a long time to start and just this afternoon is shuts off on my in the middle of the street when I hit the gas. Whats wrong with it.

Hi Tina,

Without being able to test for symptoms, I would suspect the fuel pump may be starting to fail.  It could also be fuel pressure regulator.  

Many other things could be the problem.  But without being to test for those, it is hard to say what to look for.
