Chevrolet Repair: ticking noice under dash, tic toc, noice

I have a 1995 K1500, after you shut off the ignition there is a tic toc noice which sounds like it is coming from under the dash near the steering column

maybe a relay activating, or module malfunctioning. you have to put your head up under the dash and listen for the noise and identify where its comming from. then you have to find out if that module is supposed to run after the vehicle is shut off. if not, whatever it is, is malfunctioning and needs replaced.
