Chevrolet Repair: anti-theft, theft security, system doesn

i have a 1998 chevy s10 4 cyl 5 speed it has anti-theft security how do i reset it battery was disconnected 24 hrs now it started for 10 min and died now nothing it turns over good but no run   thank you

Hello Phillip, If the security is flashing after you try to start the truck, just leave the key on until the light go out. This might take about 10 minutes to happen. Now turn the key off for 10 seconds and then start the truck.

FYI...This system doesn't make the truck stop running after it has started and run for more than 30 seconds. There maybe other problems with it.
