Chevrolet Repair: radiator motor fan, radiator fan, battery cables

I would like to know when u install a radiator fan with a motor do you have to unhook u battery post cables both of them and take your air filter thing off i have a cherolet corsica 91 6 cyd is there anything i need to know to put this on right and when it all done  can i put battery post back on. thanks Deborah

I would remove one of the battery cables, prefferably the ground cable, but that motor can be replaced and connected safely without even unhooking the battery.
Only reason to take the air cleaner thing off is to allow access to the work area.

You can do it yourself.
