Engine running rich, mechanic says fuel pump, o2 sensor checks good at local autozone ( their computer says running rich)... getting about 10 mpg....used numerous injector cleaners

Hello Vince....I think you are on the right track when looking at the o2 sensors. These sensors monitor and adjust the mixture going into your engine under a variety of conditions.You should really have a scanner with a ''data'' stream to check the sensors ,but replacing them won't hurt if you haven't done this already.... As far as the fuel pump theory goes....i don't think it has much to do with it...Best
