Chevrolet Repair: 2002 Chevy Blazer, air fuel mixture, chevy blazer

Question
My 2002 Chevy Blazer gas gauge had been messing up  then all of a sudden we tried to start it up and the blazer wouldn't start at all.  Could this be the fuel pump?

Answer
Answer: Could be.
When checking a no start vehicle (gas) remember there are four things that will make the car run.
1.Fuel- Check to see if the fuel pump is actually working and that there is fuel in the tank. Make sure its fuel and not diesel or water. If it is pumping, check the fuel line preferably right after it goes through the fuel filter.CAUTION: Use all safety precautions that pertain to dealing with fuel. If good, check the throttle body injector or fuel injectors for power.
2. Air- Make sure the air cleaner is clean and free of debris. I once found a bird in the intake hose on a car!!Customer complained of running rough.
3. Fire- Make sure that the spark plugs are getting the correct amount of spark they need to ignite the air fuel mixture.
4. Timing- If the proper amount of air and fuel are getting to the combustion chamber (cylinder) then make sure that the timing is correct. If the timing of all this isn't right strange things start happening.
