Chevrolet Repair: blower motor, full size chevy, blower motor resistor

My 2000 chevy venture blower will only blow on high.  I was told that this is the blower motor resistor, if this is true where is it located.

Yes, that is probably what it is.
The resistor pack is located inside the blower housing, so the airflow can keep it cool.

Most full size Chevy's access the resistors by getting behind the glove compartment.

S10 type trucks and Blazers, you get to it under the hood, on top of the blower housing.
Some S10 models, you have to actually cut the housing around the resistor pack, and then glue it back in, so checking a service manual would be worth while.

Refference section of the public library, or buy a Haynes manual for that truck at a parts store. You might even just read one at a parts store, or at Hastings book store.
