Chevrolet Repair: Fuel Filter, negative battery cable, chevy cavalier

How do I change the fuel filter on a Chevy Cavalier, 2003?  I am having a difficult time getting the old filter off.  

Answer
There is a special tools required to remove the filter as it has qick connects that hold the line in place, any auto parts store will have this tool.

Removal:

Relieve the fuel system pressure.(Remove Gas Cap )
Raise the vehicle.
Disconnect the fuel filter fitting using a back-up wrench.
Disconnect the quick connect fitting from the fuel filter. (Special Service Tool Required)
Remove the fuel filter.
Installation:

Remove the protective caps from the new fuel filter.
Install the fuel filter (2) in the same position as the old fuel filter.
Connect the fuel filter quick connect fitting.
Connect the fuel filter fitting (3) using a back-up wrench. Tighten the fuel filter fitting to 20 foot pounds.
Lower the vehicle.
Connect the negative battery cable.
