Where is the valve located under the hood of my 97 chevy lumina to add freon to the air conditioner?

If you have to ADD FREON then you must have a leak in the system that needs to be fixed FIRST.

I do NOT recommend that you make ANY attempte to try and repair this dangerous high pressure system as FREON is extremly dangerous and can cause PERMANENT frost bite if it gets onto your skin and can PERMANENTLY blind you if it gets in your eyes.

PLEASE have a reputable facility make a diagnosis. You can EXPLODE the hoses if you install to much freon and cause permanent personal injury due to contact with FREON.

I ca oly ASSUME that you are a novice at this attempted repair and being afraid that you may get injured by making a mistake, I do not feel comfortable in giving you this information as I would not want to be responsible if you get injured.
