Chevrolet Repair: Error Code 410, liter engine, service engine soon light

Dear Sir,
   I have a 2000 s-10 extended cab with a 4.3 liter engine and automatic transmission. My service engine soon light is on. I had the code pulled at a local part store. It came up with a code 410 (Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction). I don't even know where to start to check with this code and the parts store was no help. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Hi Bob, To repair this problem you need to replace just about everything in the Secondary Air Injection System. This would include....pump, maxi fuse (near the battery)exhaust check valves, and there are 2 solenoids at the pump. Replace all of this and you'll be all set.
