Chevrolet Repair: Chevy A/C--Heater Problem, chevy silverado, digital switch

Question
I own a 1992 Chevy Silverado Suburban, The problem is when I turn the A/C on I hear the motor but air does not immediatly come out...it starts to blow air after a minute or so. Now, the heater won't blow hot air at all. when I have the heater on it blows cool air. I have an electric(digital)switch that lights up from red(hot) to blue(cold).

Answer
Your problem is most likely within the A/C-Heater programer module and or the damper door control motor. you will need a factory service manual in order to perform the diagnostics in order to determine which component is at fault. Simply guessing and replacing components gets extremly expensive and electronic components are NOT returnable from where you purchased them.
