Chevrolet Repair: 86 S-10 blower motor intermittently stops, 20min drive, blower motor

Question
I live in Alaska and have an '86 S-10 2.8L with no A/C. I've had the blower motor go out before so when it started to occasionally completely stop for a few seconds then start working fine again for days. I figured it was getting ready to go out again (plus it started to have a faint squeak to it). This morning however, it stopped and never started until about 10min into my drive to work. I left work to run an errand and it never did come on again (another 20min drive). At lunch it never came on so I bought a new one. When I left work it was working fine but I swapped it out anyway. Reconnected everything and the new one doesn't come on either. The wiring seems ok and so does the fuse. I'm thinking maybe change the fuse out anyway and maybe try a 3rd blower motor. Any better ideas?

Answer
Hello Steve, Alaska...I hope to get there some day. I would check the wiring to the blower switch, I have seen the terminals get loose and then start to melt the connector. The only other thing is the high blower relay if it has one (not sure without A/C).

Let me know what you find
