Chevrolet Repair: Brakes, warped rotors, wheel bearings

Question
I drive a 2001 Chevrolet Impala with 61,000 miles. Back in Oct. the "Traction Engaged" light started coming on at strange times. Then the brakes started "grabbing" when making a right turn. And the wheels would lock up. Took to dealership and they replaced a "speed" sensor hub. But in December the light started coming on again, but not all the time. I made it thru the holidays, but all of a sudden the brakes started grabbing again. Not just on a right turn. Took back to dealership, all they could find was a "sensor" that was miscoded. Two days later the light started coming on again and the brakes are still grabbing. But not necessarily at the same time. I've heard everything from electrical problem to warped rotors. Can you help me out?

Answer
Hello Sandy, The only thing that goes wrong with this car on the brakes is the wheel speed sensors/wheel bearings. You must have a bad wheel bearing/ sensor. The wheel speed sensor is in the wheel bearing so when the sensor goes bad you need to replace the wheel bearing. There should be a code that will tell them which one is the problem.

Hope this helps you
