Chevrolet Repair: Tapping Noise, chevy monte carlo, intake manifold

I have a 1998 Chevy Monte Carlo. Recently, I heard this tapping noise come from the top of my engine. I want to know what can be making this noise and how much does it cost to fix?

Hi Desmon, These engines do make a tapping noise that can sound bad but all is OK. Without hearing it I can't tell you if it is normal or not. Make sure that the intake manifold isn't leaking coolant into the engine oil. I haven't seen any engine problems other then bad gaskets with the engine.
