Chevrolet Repair: engine dies out, chevy beretta, tps sensor

I bought a 91 Chevy Beretta for my daughter and when you put it in gear it dies.I have redone almost everything possible runs fine in garage. I fixed muffler could it be I restricted the exhaust flow. Help in Fort Hood.

Its possible your running a vehicle with a bad tps sensor which controls idle. Then again, its hard to say, you may have a bad cat converter on the engine. I would suggest you have the vehicle scanned on a diagnostic computer. This way it will give the mechanic, a code which in turn will tell him which sensor is bad.. Sorry, could help you more..
