Chevrolet Repair: Overheating Problems, chevy camaro, car overheats

Question
Hi there....  I have a 1996 Chevy Camaro, 3.4L v-6 Man. Trans.... Anyway, my problem is this... My car overheats if I sit for an extended period of time...It does this at fast food drive thrus , traffic jams, etc.... Once I start going, it starts cooling down quickly, but when I stop for any amount of time it rises again... The oil is fine, changed regularly, the water level is good, and it doesnt matter what the temp is when it does this....Any advice about where to begin or what it could be....  Thanks

Answer
Hi Tom, Well it sounds like your radiator fan isn't working. Check all your fuses to make sure that the one for the fan is good. I think that there is a relay too but these don't go bad to often. The most common thing is for the fan motor to go bad.

Let me know what you find
