Chevrolet Repair: A/C COMPRESSOR RELAY, chevy pickup, freon

I HAVE A 1994 CHEVY PICKUP.MY A/C COMPRESSOR WILL NOT COME ON.I HAVE CHECKED THE FUSE-IT IS OKAY.I AM THINKING IT MAYBE THE COMPRESSOR RELAY.WHERE IS THE COMPRESSOR RELAY LOCATED AND HOW DO YOU REPLACE IT?THANKS.

Hello Buster, I'm not sure where the relay is but I'll bet the system is low on freon. After you fill the system you need to reset the system by disconnecting the battery for a minute. The only other thing that goes bad is the low pressure cycling switch. This is on the accumulator. You can also jump this switch to see if the compressor runs.
