Chevrolet Repair: 1996 Chevrolet, Corsica V-6, mass air flow sensor, mass air flow

Intermittent problem,  Won,t get over 30 mph, let of of gas, then push  on the gas and it will start to faster.  You never know when this is going to happen.  Scanned for codes nothing came up.  Changed fuel filter also.  Runs perfect rest of time.  Would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Hi John, This engine has no common problem for the one your having. Things to check are....Mass air flow sensor, engine misfire. I have seen a module go bad and knock out 2 cylinders and the engine still runs without a noticeable skip. When this happens try to see if the engine is missing a cylinder or two.
