Chrysler Repair: 01 Voyager; no start

Question
QUESTION: 2001 chrysler voyager runs great, I pulled a fuse (blower) while the van was running, engine died and now won't start, what could cause this?

ANSWER: Hi Harry,
Was that for the front heater blower or the rear heater blower?
I don't see any connection between those fuses and the engine electrical systems.
Try to get a fault code using the ignition switch: "on-off-on-off-on and leave on, doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then wwtch the odometer in the instrument cluster to see the mileage reading be replaced by a 4-digit number preceded by a P. Let me know the number and we'll go from there.
By the way why did you want to remove a blower motor fuse?
Please read the PS below and respond to it.
Thanks for doing that,
Roland

QUESTION: I don't recall which blower, I'll try the code check in the morning.
We were using a small 12 volt air pump plugged into the cig lighter, when the compresser stopped running I thought maybe a blown fuse so looking for a blown fuse I pulled the blower fuse and the van died put the fuse back won't start. I could not see any connection either. This vehicle runs great no starting issues at all. til I pulled that fuse.
thanks for your time, Harry

ANSWER: OK, I'll be interested to see what fault code you get. Did you check the fuse that you took out and put back to see if it could have blown? The fuse for the front lighter is number 5, and might be labeled 'accessory'. Thanks for the rating and nomination.

QUESTION: Good morning, did the code thing produced P 1684 any help?
I'll be away from the computer for awhile. Harry

Answer
Hi Harry,
The 1684 means the battery's connection to the fuse box was disconnected recently (last 50-100 key starts). If that is not the case then check to see if your battery post connections are tight and that the - post clamp's wires are tightly connected at their far ends.
When you said 'no start', do you mean the starter wouldn't work, or that it does work but the engine won't start?  If the latter, then listen to see if the fuel pump hums for about a second when you turn the key to the 'run' position. It should do that, and if not it could be a blowen fuse (#17, just to the in-board of the front blower motor relay) or a flakey pump.
Then check for whether you have spark or not.
You can do the rate/nominate again, if you would be so kind.
Thanks,
Roland
