Chrysler Repair: 2004 sebring touring convertible lighting/heat problem, temp gauge, best guess

Question
QUESTION: Hi, first, I'm a woman with absolutely NO knowledge of cars except how to drive them. I've had the following succession of issues over the past 30 days:

1 - if car not driven for 2 days, battery dies

2 - overheating while sitting still (idling in driveway or increase in temp while caught at train tracks)
-- my son and I noticed the fans werent turning, replaced the fuse and they turn now, air works better/cooler, temp gauge shows normal, but car still "smells" smells hot after driving and the engine light is now on.

3. The interior rearview mirror and back seat lights wont turn off. This issue happened once before, and I think was related to opening the door with the key rather than the fob. Much locking/unlocking with both finally turned them off - but this time that isnt working.

4 - rright turn signal blinks quickly for a few seconds, then blinks normally but all bulbs appear to be working.

Any suggestions? Are these all related?

ANSWER: Ok mid Lisa. With no experience with cars. What are u asking from me. Are u wanting to repair this. Or going to have some one do it for u. In any regards  with out looking at the car and seeing what some items are doing.  I would simply be guessing at what's going on

QUESTION: Kevin, GA is a bit far from MI to travel to have you fix it for me, though I wish I could :)  I would like to try to fix this myself if possible (with my sons help) cuz I am on a fixed income and taking it to a repair shop always costs so much money. Can you give me your best guess on where I should start to fix the interior lights and the hot smell?  I would appreciate whatever guidance you can give.  I listed everything that has happened over the last month thinking it may all be related somehow.  Thank you so much for your quick response!

Answer
This is what I was getting at.  With out looking at the car first. I can't tell u what to do. As for a smell.  I am online. I can't smell it   Possibly a door or trunk is open killing your battery.   U will simply need to have some one look at it for you
