Chrysler Repair: 99 sebring 2.5 6cyl stalling, crankshaft sensor, crank sensor

Question
No engine codes nor is the CE coming on.  Car will drive for a while then reaching high speeds for a short period of time stalls.  Have to wait and then restarts.
From what I have read Crankshaft Sensor.  Changed all plugs wires and MAP.
Any ideas what this might be?  As I have read the crankshaft sensor will cause fuel pump problems and cause stalling while driving.

Answer
It sounds like you have a fuel issue. Replace the fuel filter and have the fuel pressure checked to make sure the fuel pump is putting out enough pressure. You really don't want to replace the crank sensor at this point. It's part of the distributor asssembly and is quite expensive.
