Chrysler Repair: fuel pressure: 98 Neon, fuel pressure gauge, table spoon

Question
i have not put a fuel pressure gauge on rail, but i know pressure is not 55psi.would say maybe table spoon of gas came out when stalling.
temp sensor reads 9+ now, map sensor reads 17+ on 20k

Answer
It might be the fuel filter is clogged, or the pressure regulator, unless the fuel pump sounds flakey. The temp sensor, if the engine is fully warmed up, should be alot lower than 9k ohms. The MAP sensor of course depends upon whether the engine is running or not and is dynamic when that is the case depending upon and throttle opening. I doubt the MAP is the problem. Maybe the intake air sensor, if it reads 9k and a warm engine is the situation.
The fuel pressure is supposed to be 49 psi at the fuel rail of that engine. The filter and regulator are a single unit, mounted on the top of the tank, and you have to lower the tank to change it out. So I would see what the pressure is before getting into that process.
