Chrysler Repair: 97 Sebring jxi: 2.5L V-6, no power, spark plug wires, milky appearance

Question
we just changed out the distributor and plug wires on my 1997 sebring jxi. 6cyl. 2.5. The problem before was no spark. We got the car to start, BUT now it acts like it wants to die and doesn't go more than a few inches. Also we had a heater hose leak and when we went to check the fluid level we noticed a white milky fluid in the radiator. It idles just fine, sputters when you rev it up and dies when you go to drive. Any suggestions?

Answer
Hi Denise,
Nothing that you did regarding the distributor or spark plug wires should have impacted the cooling system (radiator). So let us set that aside unless you were aware or an issue before having to do with loss of coolant/white smoke from the tail pipe/etc.
I wonder if the spark plug wires are in the proper position of the distributor cap. While the actual firing order is 123456, the wires are arranged clockwise around the distributor 624531. So take a look at that possibility. Other than that, try for fault codes using the ignition key: on-off-on-off-on and leave on, doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the check engine light to see if it begins to flash, pause, flash, etc. Count the number of flashes before each pause. Then repeat the process to assure an accurate flash count set. Tell the counts in order of appearance. If that doesn't happen then instead look at the odometer window for any four digit numbers that may appear after you do the key switching.
I don't know what would cause milky appearance in the coolant, except perhaps air bubbles from doing the hose change.
Any other history before this all began that is relevant?
