Chrysler Repair: Chrysler 300 M 00: no flashing of turn signals, check fuse, chrysler 300 m

Question
I have a 2000 Chrysler 300M. I am having issues with the wiring - I think. My signal lights blink very seldom. They lights work - they just don't blink. I have to flick the switch on and off to make them blink. I have also had the interior lights blink on and off while driving and couldn't make it stop. That hasn't happened for quite a while. Now the real issue is that I don't have any heat. It used to come on just out of the blue, but for the last week absolutely nothing. The problem is not that it blows cold air - it does nothing. I know these are a lot of questions, but I don't know what to do about any of them. My wipers work great -- everything else with that switch works, just not the signal lights.

Thanks very much!

Answer
Hi Renee,
Check fuse 9 in the fuse box behind the left end-cap of the dash, it powers the combination flasher. It could be blown or have a crack in its internal wire. If that seems OK then see of the hazard flasher also don't work. Let me know and we'll go from there. Let us take up the problem one at a time. Which type of heater control do you have:manual heat or automatic digital readout control? Doesn't the blower work either? If the digital type, does the readout still light up?
