Chrysler Repair: overhead console lights: 06 minivan, chrysler town and country, knife blade

Question
I have a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country and the lights in the overhead console, the 'push/push' reading lights, have gone out over time at different times.  I have no reason to suspect anything other than the need to replace the bulbs but I don't see any way to open and access the bulbs.  I don't want to randomly pull and twist hoping something will open so could you please direct me to the correct way to gain access and replace these bulbs?
Thanks, Tim

Answer
Hi Tim,
The manual is a bit conflicted about this. In the text it says that the console has to be replaced if the bulb burn out! which sounds nuts. But then there are figures which show the access to the bulbs is obtained by gently prying with a knife blade at the edge of the lens that covers the bulb so that it releases and then removed. Then you have access to remove the bulb. I would believe that is the approach to this problem so give that a try.

PS Sorry for the delay but I just found your question in the 'pool' to which it had been referred by Kevin.
