Question
My 99 chrysler cirrus 2.5 has a miss that can be felt at all speed (like a small lump on a tire)at sometimes it works perfectly then..when hot it will stumble on take off and almost quit  so far I have spent close to $4000 to fix it. I have given up on the Chrysler dealership's mechanics here is what they have done to find the problem:Remove and clean the gas tank/ filter, new gas pump assembly, replace the 6 injectors new intake gasket new plugs /wires /cap/rotor button  There is no code on the mil light, compression checked ok 3 days later The dealer said is was fixed.....but no guaranty
at last resort the mechanic down the road tried a used distributor
and used computer ..it all worked with no changed in performance
the car is in super shape otherwise.. HELP please before I loose my cool and take it to the junk yard

verify all engine/transmission systems are functioning as designed. If other DTC’s are
present, record them on the repair order and repair as necessary before proceeding
further with this bulletin. If the condition(s) can be duplicated or is described by
the customer, it may be caused by the EGR valve being stuck partially open. To
confirm whether or not the valve is stuck partially open:
1. If the condition(s) can be duplicated, then block off the EGR passageway to the
intake manifold. If the condition(s) disappear, but will reappear when the EGR
passageway is re-opened, perform the Repair Procedure.
2. If the condition(s) cannot be duplicated, but are described by the
customer, perform the Repair procedure.
