Chrysler Repair: Pacifica power liftgate: emergency release, check fuse, manual roland

Question
Liftgate is my parents 2004 Pacifica will not open, manual says there's an emergency release you can access from inside vehicle? No diagram or additional info and we can't find it.  Glad it's not true emergency.  Any ideas?

Check fuse 11 (40 amp) in the power box in the engine compartment. If that is not blown or perhaps has a subtle crack in its wire, then use a screwdriver as follows:
Find a 1 inch diameter plug at the lower edge of the liftgate trim panel in the cabin. Gently pry off the plug. Then find a slot in a beige lever inside the hole, lift it up and to the right (right as you face rearward) via the slot using the screwdriver, until the latch is cleared and that will allow the opening according to my manual.
