Chrysler Repair: overheating engine, white smoke, tail pipe

Question
my car overheated i had a mechanic look at it said to replace the fuse that keeps the fans going and I did that and it still will not work what can i do will it ever work again

Answer
Hi Lisa,
Did the fans start working again after the fuse was replaced? Did the mechanic check any thing else about the cooling system?
There are many reasons for overheating and all of them can be fixed so I predict you will have normal operating cooling system again.
Tell me the year/make/model/engine size(L) and also can you tell me the history of the problem (how it began and did it change as you drove furthe and exactly what are the indications that things are overheating, for example: temp gauge: how fast does it get to "H", steam coming from under hood, loss of coolant to the ground under the car and where it appears, excessive white smoke from the tail pipe when you start the car, how much coolant do you have to add/distance driven, any leaking hoses or leaky radiator?
