Question
hello need help! I tried to start my car and it had dead battery so I charged it up and changed the batt cable ends because they were corroded and didn't look good. So I fired the car up no problem went to store and wouldn't restart, no power anywhere, I opened the hood and the two white pos wires were loose so I tightened them and still nothing. No power to lights seat aor anything please help...
also tested for power both sides of 120 and 60 amp link in fuse box and have power both sides... the horn doesn't even work. please help

Answer
Hi John,
If you are measuring 'power' at the fusible links but with the test meter's (-) probe on the battery - clamp/post, that still begs the question of whether the black/yellow wires attached to the (-) clamp are actually grounded to the the engine and to the left strut tower. If either of those grounds were loose/corroded, or the (-) clamp/(cable ends) weren't well connected then you won't get any power to the system though you would show 12V on the fusibles if compared to the  (-) post of the battery. So check that out and let me know.
