Answer
Hi Robert,
The other item that may be causing a stall, due to a too dilute mixture, is the egr valve which may be stuck slightly ajar. Find the valve stem between the body of the valve and its round vacuum actuator on it top. The stem is hidden behind a flange between those two parts and it has a circumferential slot into which you can insert the tip of a screwdriver to move the stem back and forth, against spring action that tries to close it in one direction. The spring should move the stem to a dead stop, closed. If it is sticky, then spray some WD-40 on the stem where it enters the valve body and move the stem until it frees up. You will find the valve in the pipe that crosses over the front of the engine that comes from the manifold close to the front of the van.
