what are the common symptoms for a torque converter clutch that will not disengage thank you

Hi Stan,
It would be the same as driving a stick shift w/clutch and not stepping on the clutch pedal when coming to a stop, or possibly (because this may not happen always) starting the car similarly with the a gear engaged and the pedal not depressed.
