May I get a copy of the instructions you offer for the recalibration routine for a 2001 Chrysler town and Country as mine sounds nearly identical to the one I was reading about above and winter is coming quickly. I will be happy to provide my mailing information if you can email me.

Yes, just send me another question, choosing the 'private' option and your address will be secure. I need to understand whether the 2001 model is identical to the 98 or the 02 model as those are the two mauals I have and they differ as to the self-diagnostic approach. The '98 only offered as manual (no digital readout automatic temp controls) while the 02 offers both types. The '98 has a 'wash' and 'rear wiper' buttons which you push and hold for 5 seconds to begin the process while the '02 model you press the 'power' and 'recirculation' buttons. Please look at the controls and tell me which type you have and whether it has the 2 buttons needed for the calibration to be done and whether they are '98 or '02 type of buttons.
