Chrysler Repair: headlight beam pattern: Euro/British/US, chrysler voyager, beam pattern

hi i have a 2000 chrysler voyager which has failed its mot as the beam pattern is set to european and not uk how can i change this as the head lights do say that they are british on them

Hi Carla,
The best approach would be to share a copy of the pages that show how to do this. I have two manuals: '98 and '02. The '98 just covers the USA standard, the '02 covers USA and European standard. I am uncertain therefor as to whether the British is identical to the USA standard or not. Also, the vertical adjustment procedure is different for those two years. So the first question that needs to be answered is which standard applies to Britain? Then probably I would need to send you both instructions as the adjustment might be made one way or the other. There are drawings that show the alignment patterns along with text. It might cost me a couple of dollars to do the copying and mailing but there may be no convenient way for you to repay me in which case I would gift it to you. So start by learning what is the British standard, and then let me know a postal mailing address that I will use to mail the pages to you.
