after starting car all the light go out as nomal then about 100yrd the abs light comes on

Hi Barrie,
With a plug-in code reader one can get a clue about what the ABS controller believes is wrong. But it may be something fairly simple to correct without doing that, specifically try cleaning off any accumulated dirt on each of the wheel sensors and the metal ring which they are in close opposition to. So remove the wheel and locate the only external device with a wire, clean off its tip and the surface nearby and that may well correct the problem.
