Chrysler Repair: Convertible top motor location: Sebring, seat brackets, floor pan

My convertable top on my 97 sebring quit working and I am not sure where the motor is located.

Hi Dan,
To get to the motor you remove the back seat cushion and the back seat back. To remove the cushion, you have to push rearward firmly and then upward, approximately where each passenger sits to release hooks from floor pan. For the back, remove the seat belt assembly from the midline. Pull the bottom of the seat forward so the seat brackets clear the studs on the floor pan. Then pust the seat back upward to release clips at top of seat back.
That will give you access to the motor/pump assembly.
You might also want to check fuse 11 (40 amp) in the power distribution center and fuse 4 (15 amp) in the junction box under the dash.
