Chrysler Repair: trouble codes removal, battery power, mpi

Roland is there any way to remove stored codes on a
1991 dynasty 3.3L V6 with MPI vehicle is not running at this
time to take to shop

Hi Billy,
The stored codes will be erased by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. The 12 code however will appear because the power was disconnected from the computer in order to erase the codes (code 12 will be logged because it says "battery power to computer was lost recently"; it too will go away after 50-100 on-off cycles of the engine). If you run the car without repairing the causes of the other earlier codes they too will reappear soon again.
