Chrysler Repair: Changing spark plugs on 3.3/3,8: intake strut, changing spark plugs, voyager 3

Question
Hi Roland,
I bought a Haynes repair guide and trying to change the spark plugs on my 98 plymmouth voyager 3.3L V6.  Really having a difficulty in locating the "intake strut bolt".  Where is this bolt exactly ?
Please help
Thanks

Answer
Hi Peter,
I think it is referring to a bar (bracket) at the rear end of the intake manifold which is strut-like in that it connects the rear surface of the cylinder head to the intake manifold plenum, near spark plug #5. It's purpose is to mechanically support that end of the intake manifold. It probably gets in the way of removing the #5 plug. The bolt referred to is the lower one, attaching the bar to the cylinder head. Then loosen the upper one and fold it out of the way.
