Chrysler Repair: speed sensor on 2000 Chrystler Grand Voyager, chrysler grand voyager, speed sensors

Question
I am trying to locate the speed sensor on my 2000 Chrysler grand voyager. Can you help?

Answer
Hi John,
There are two speed sensors on the transmission that are identical in appearance. They are on the side that faces the front of the vehicle, about mid-level, one to left and one to the right of the vertical shift rod. The input speed sensor is the one at the front of the trans, and the output speed sensor is at the very end of the trans.
They both have a wire connector with a lift-tab-to release fitting. Unscrew the old, screw in a new. Tighten to about the same as a spark plug (20 foot pounds).

PS Use the 'thank/rate' tab to get back to me without having to wait for me to be 'available' to take a question. There is a space for comments to which I will reply. While there, if this answer has been helpful, if you would give a 'yes' where the question about 'nomination' is asked, I would be appreciative.
